My husband and I travel to Ft Walton at few times a year and this past trip is the 1st time eating at Floyd's, but it will not be our last!! I tried the New Orleans Chicken Pasta and it was a tasty and wonderfully spicy….out of this world delicious dish!! It was suggested by our amazing waiter, Cooper, and he knew exactly what to suggest for my taste buds!! Cooper made our visit especially nice. He is an an awesome personality and was so fun to chat with during our time there. Highly recommend Floyd's and ask for Cooper!!!

Bottomless Fried Gulf Shrimp review by Heath
Some places serve food… and some places serve memories. Floyd's Shrimp House in Destin/Okaloosa is one of those rare places that does both. Back in 2009, my wife and I walked into Floyd's with our four kids, one of them just a 3-month-old baby in my arms. We were tired from a day at the beach, hungry for good seafood, and hoping for a place that felt relaxed and welcoming for a big family. From the moment we sat down, Floyd's delivered. The Gulf shrimp were incredible—fresh, perfectly cooked, and exactly what you hope for when you come to the Florida coast. Every plate that hit the table was packed with flavor. You could taste the Gulf in every bite. But the food wasn't the only thing that made the night special. The atmosphere was everything a Destin seafood spot should be—fun, casual, family-friendly, and full of the kind of energy that makes you want to slow down and enjoy the moment. Then something small happened that turned into a memory we still talk about today. Each of our kids' meals came with a souvenir frisbee. At the time it was just a fun little extra for the kids… but those frisbees came home with us, and believe it or not we still have them today. Seventeen years later, those little souvenirs are still around our house, reminders of a beach trip when our kids were little and life felt simple. That 3-month-old baby from 2009 is turning 17 this April, and guess what? We're coming back to Destin—and you can bet Floyd's is on the list. Because great restaurants feed you once. But the best ones become part of your family's story. Floyd's, thanks for the amazing shrimp, the great atmosphere, and a memory that has lasted nearly two decades. We're looking forward to coming back and making a few more.

These gator bites were a perfect blend of crunchy and soft! They had amazing flavor. I drove all the way from Louisiana to for Walton just to try Floyds!!

The food was great. We got the all you can eat fish and shrimp. We didn't get seconds because there was plenty of food in the first basket. My other daughter got the shrimp Alfredo and brought tons home. The portion sizes are big. Our waitress Kaytlind was amazing. She was very attentive and came back several times to see if we needed anything.
